Ylang ylang is traditionally used in aromatherapy to sharpen the senses
and to temper depression, fear, anger and jealousy. It has a sweet, exotic,
floral scent that is one of the most sought after aromas. As a relaxation aid
it reduces stress and tension, and helps to relieve feelings of frustration. It
is also a great aphrodisiac and sleeping aid; the perfect aroma for the
bedroom. Ylang ylang originated in the Philippines, and its name means
"flower of flowers."
